今日は、私が大好きな作品、『RWBY』の作中歌、『I may fall』の和訳を紹介したいと思います。訳自体は、受験生のころに英語の勉強と称してやってました。なのでガバガバです。全然分かってません。英語が得意な方、ぜひ『RWBY』を見て私に英語を教えてください。もちろん苦手な方も見てください。英語の勉強になります。
自分の解釈の過程を見せたいと思い、まずはなるべく直訳で訳したものを載せた後に、意訳版を載せたいと思います。タイトルでもある『I may fall』は、非常に多義的なニュアンスを持っているので、位置によってニュアンスを変えてみたらカッコいいかなと思い、ラストに含ませてみました。拙訳ですが、アドバイスのほどよろしくお願いします。

〈直訳版〉

心の全てが壊される日がある
